Add a new list. Copy comma separated email address from a multiple mailing email pasted the list onto the 'type email address....' box. Press enter Save it. open the list back. There is only the first email. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: open address book. Add a new list. Copy comma separated email address from a multiple mailing email pasted the list onto the 'type email address....' box. Press enter Save it. open the list back. There is only the first email. Actual Results: only saves the first email Expected Results: The address book should have parsed the list and added as a list of all the comma separated email IDs to save as a list. An older version of Netscape address book had that capability 4.7 or so. But that feature disappeared later.

Confirming. This make also sense for consistency reasons since comma-separated lists of email addresses are supported when composing a new message. Tuning summary a bit, because the creation of the mailing list doesn't really fail when you try to enter a comma-separated list. Instead only the first address from the list is accepted.

I can confirm on Thunderbird (Mac) version 1.0 (20041206). Also note the related bugs 169432 and 200130 (which are identical, I'm going to go mark them).
