repro:
1.open a window
2.open first tab with e.g. http://news.bbc.co.uk/ (has no favicon)
3.open second tab with e.g https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=264752
(has favicon)
4.now switch between the tabs , look in the locationbar, and see the default
favicon in the BBC tab beeing redrawn at every visit
