I tried it under a new profile and was able to reproduce it there as well. I use an unpatched Firefox 1.0PR from mozilla.org Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.tobiasjung.net/profont/ 2. Move the mouse over the link saying "read Profont for Windows, Mac, Linux" 3. See how Firefox crashes Actual Results: It crashed Expected Results: It shouldn't crash /opt/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 451: 3373 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

I can't confirme it on an other machine of mine running also firefox 0.10PR and Fedora Core 2. The configuration of the two machines is almost identical. Weird.

Ok, I have found the cause for the bug: The page specifies profont as the default font, however the version of profont I had installed was broken. The broken font seems to be the reason Firefox crashed. After I removed it, everything works correctly. I guess the bug should be closed but I leave this to the developers, perhaps it's a bug that Firefox crashes when trying to use malformed font files.
