User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de-AT; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de-AT; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910 When searching for something containing german umlauts (such as in "Gärtner" or "Öffentlich"), using Mozilla's dropdown search function, which drops down when you're typing in it's URL bar, it submites these wrong to Google. For example: When you're searching for "öffentlich", which means "public" in German, Google searches for "?ffentlich" instead. My related settings are: - Default Search Engine: deGoogle - Auto complete: Show Internet Search Engine while typing - Language pack installed: "German" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Setup the German language pack to get the "deGoogle" searchengine available 2. Setup Mozilla to show the default searchengine when autocompleting 3. Search for any string, containing ö,ä,ü or one of these Actual Results: Mozilla submites the umlauts as "?" to google Expected Results: It shall submit the umlauts as umlauts none
