- delete flash plugin
- visit data:text/html,<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
- click Install Missing Plugins
1. Should use throbber on checking page under progress bar as in Update Wizard
to indicate network activity.
2. "< Back" button is not enabled on "License Agreement" page.
3. Should use some clever combination of throbber/progress text on license page
to indicate that the license is loading. (Use a status change handler on the
browser tag there to detect when the load starts/stops)
4. "Next >" button on License page should read "Install" (Or "Download & Install")
5. Agree to the license and continue to download stage. Press cancel. Spray of
JS errors! - you should be terminating the XPInstall op in the same way that the
update wizard does. Cancelling does not actually cancel the install either - it
continues in the background!
6. If plugins were not found, a "Details" dialog should list the content types
for the plugins that could not be found. Text in the display area should be
selectable or perhaps a "Search Google" button to search for plugins of that type.
7. The "Status" page at the end of the wizard has too much indentation to the
left of each item in the list, and the items could use icons :-)
One other thing on
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060524 Minefield/3.0a1
the window for the pfs isn't broad enough to display the info for shockwave/flash plugin.
Granted, a horizontal scrollbar is provided to see the rest of the button, but it looks unpolished, while at the same time there's plenty of room in that window that goes unused [large text indents etc.]
Screenshot coming up.
Notice how far the "Unknown plugin" text is indented, causing the button to overflow.
