User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040927 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040927 Once you have created a folder it's not possible to change the case of a character in his name unless by renaming the folder in something different and then renaming with the previous name but with the desidered case changes. This would be correct if Mozilla presented the folder always in the same way regardless of the characters' case in the folder's file name, but as it consider it in the user interface, it's not correct. Case is a control which Mozilla shouldn't make, and let Windows manage the thing. I think this is a problem with the API used, but I think there are other APIs which don't make controls over the characters entered. This could be related to bug 264071: by solving it introducing a file containing the name in UTF-8 maybe the problem could resolve, but I'm not sure of it. Anyway I think this problem should be resolved without waiting for the other bug to solve, by changing the API. I think the classification as minor bug instead of rfe is correct. I was pretty sure to find other reports, but I haven't found them so excuse me if this is a duplicate. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
