User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041017 Firefox/0.9.1+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041017 Firefox/0.9.1+ See upcoming testcase. When switching focus between the link and the overflow:auto div (black bordered div) the width of the red bordered gets shorter sometimes. It seems like the margin-right gets doubled when that happens. I hope it fixes this URL: http://www.casew.com/portable.htm But it could be that by removing html/css code from that site, I changed the initial cause of that bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

It only happens with trunk (1.8a) builds, so no need to test it with 1.7 builds. Btw, it is always important to test bugs with a fairly recent nightly build (and not with a 1.7 build).

Same problem (using the testcase) under Linux/PPC. Hardware/OS should be set to All/All.
