Portable Thunderbird, a special build for using Thunderbird from a portable
device (e.g.
USB stick), is presented in http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/portable_thunderbird/.
I hope the experience from this package can be used to provide a stand-alone
build from the official site. This could be marketed as a solution to people who
want full synchronization between their home and work browsers, and could even
generate revenue from selling pre-installed USB sticks or the like.
By the way, it would be great if it could contain several OS specific versions,
and all of them referenced the same profile.
