This checkbox is not labeled as to what it is, nor does it actually do anything
if it's checked off.

Yup - the text for the label is gone for the checkbox. I'm working my way
backwards in releases to determine the regression.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041025
Firefox/0.9.1+
The label text is present in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US;
rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041024 Firefox/1.0
Using nightly trunk builds, there is no dialog/text up to 10-15-08.
There is a check box but no text in 10-16-08.
The option is working and labeled in 1.0 on Windows 2000.

That's why this is labeled a trunk bug and not a 1.0 branch bug.

This is fixed in builds post-aviary landing, though installer builds are still
generally broken (see bug 272982).
