User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 Any time I go to a Java application the browser locks up. The only recent change I made to the browser was to load the security update. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a Java application using the browser 2. After the browser doesn't seem to do anything, try to hit CLOSE window Actual Results: Firefox does not sucessfully load the Java application. It just locks up. Closing the window does not result in the application actually terminating and I have to kill the process. Expected Results: Work normally.
I upgraded to JRE 1.5 per suggestion by Peter Vanderwoude and this fixes the freeze. However, shouldn't someone still find out why the browser freezes up after the security fix?
