In group by date mode with Today's messages at the top.

I open up the folder in question and while we are opening a connection to the
server I open up the Today group.

New mail comes into the folder for Today and we end up not adjusting the row
count appropriately, over-writing all of the groups underneath Today's mail.

lemme know if that description doesn't make sense.

I've checked in this patch - but now I'm not sure if it's the same problem or
