found while using 2004102009-0.9+ on linux fc2. I'm not sure if this is a side-effect of bug 254592, but pls reassign or dup as needed. 1. open a modal dialog, like the Preferences (Options) dialog. 2. move mouse to browser window. on linux, I can click to make the browser window's titlebar active, but I cannot scroll --expected since the Prefs dialog is modal. 3. hit ctrl+F or the FAYT shortcuts / or ' (it doesn't matter if you've got "begin finding when you begin typing" in Advanced | Accessibility turned on or off). expected: since there's a modal dialog, the find toolbar (nor FAYT, I'd think) should appear. results: the find toolbar appears. need to see if this also occurs on Mac and Windows...
