RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 246531

People

(Reporter: cuberds, Assigned: bugzilla)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1

Window disappears when running other apps. e.g. Firefox is unfocused, it will
disappear, unless you use Cacheman to refocus it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Focus on another application for a long time
2. Ignore Firefox
3. Firefox is status bar will disappear: If your re-focus it again: it will reappear

Actual Results:
Window disappeared

Expected Results:
Stay on taskbar

Reproducible also in Thunderbird
Seeing this as well (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3)
Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1).

Sometimes when I have two Firefox windows only one will disappear from the taskbar.

Hasn't happened to me in Thunderbird (0.8 20040913) yet.
I too am seeing this behaviour (Firefox windows just randomly disappear from
the taskbar). Sometimes they return and sometimes they don't.

Currently using: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5)
Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I also see a forum post with a similar (if not the same) problem (although it
is occuring on Linux). Perhaps a cross platform problem?

The Firefox window just disappears, but reappears when all other windows are
closed, and randomly. It is really annoying!
