Any extension that re-directs a user to a mirror site for an XPI download won't
receive the download. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on extension installation
2. Refuses
3. Add to safe list and still refuses to download

Actual Results:  
Refused to download

Expected Results:  
Download XPI

Suggestion: Give an option (not default) to Allow all websites to install XPI.
Please provide more detailed steps to reproduce.

To disable the XPInstall whitelist, open about:config and set
xpinstall.whitelist.required to false
Does this work in Release Candidate. A bug with whitelist was fixed recently.
works for me with official 1.0, and no reply for 2.5 weeks
