Source view missing.
I assume forgotten umlaut translation for source view url.


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Call an umlaut domain (www.alois-bröder.de)
2. Press Ctrl+U (source view)
3. Look what happens

Actual Results:  
An empty source view appears and after a while there is a complaint about not
finding "" (empty url).

Expected Results:  
Show the page source!

I can see the bug with Mozilla1.7, but I can't see the bug with:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041020
Firefox/0.9.1+
I've tested it with http://www.domäne2.de/ (but this url will probably also gets
skewed once posted).
So I think this is already fixed in the 1.8a builds.

The patch for 1.7 in bug 201040 was checked in 2004-07-29, is it just not 
working?

Confirming as WORKSFORME with Mozilla build id 2004101806.

The URL seen in the view source window title is the encoded url
(www.xn--domne2-dua.de), but this is extremly minor as only experimented users
will need/use view source.

About 1.7, let's first make sure Martijn is not using a version prior to 1.7.3
(1.7.2 release date is suposedly after the checkin, but just by a few days so it
might not have the patch).

I was using the very first Mozilla1.7, so you can mark it WORKSFORME as far as I
am concerned :)

Confirming bug with Moz 1.7.3 (build 2004091008) on WinNT4.
It works with aviary builds (Firefox 0.10.1 based on Mozilla 1.7.3) but not with
Mozilla 1.7.3 itself. Trunk builds work ok.

That is bug 250103.

I see it: The patch didn't make it into 1.7.3 (from MOZILLA_1_7_2_BRANCH). Compare

So this is fixed on 1.7 branch but not in the Mozilla 1.7.3 release. This bug
could be resolved.

Reporter, install the latest 1.7 build from
http://ftp.eu.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.7/ to resolve
your problem.

this will be fixed only in 1.7.4 or 1.7.5 or whatever the next real branch
release will be called.
