The 'pen' icon signifying the message has been digitly signed does not show
unless the header frame is opened.  See the gif file at:

which shows two screen captures of the mail window.  Top shot shows it without
the headers enabled - note that no icon appears.  Bottom shot shows the icon
when the headers are enabled.  Although I'm reporting this using Mozilla 1.8A4,
the problem has existed in previous versions.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Send yourself a digitly signed e-mail (I use a certificate issued by Verisign).
2.  Don't show headers as in the top picture in the gif file.
3.

Actual Results:  
Icon does not appear.  

Expected Results:  
Show the 'pen' icon in either the header frame or in the bottom section where it
shows the 'connection icon', 'lock' icon, 'popup' icon, etc.

Bug still exists in Mozilla 1.8a6

Upgraded from Windows ME to XP and Mozilla 1.8a6 to 1.8b

This problem also exists in Thunderbird 1.0 (20041206)

Still does not show unless header window is expanded in Mozilla 1.7.10.

I am withdrawing this from bugzilla. 

It should have been a request for an improvement or new feature rather than as a
bug report.
