Using 20 october trunk nighlies from Firefox and Camino on OS X 10.3.5 and the latest Flash plugin. Flash file behave like regular images with in html page. When you go to the test URL there is a flash movie mebedded in a regulare html file. When trying to use the scrollbar at the bottom of the flash movie, instead of being able to drag and drop the scrollbar, the entire flaash movie gets selected as if it where an image (dashed line around). This only happen on trunk builds. FF 1.0PR works OK and Camino 0.8.1 Works fine aswell.

This appears to be platform specfic. It does not occur with trunk or branch win32 builds of firefox.
I bet this is a dupe of bug 264129.

The status can't just be set to normal. This bug causes serious access problems to webpages that make hevay use of Flash as clicking on a ery high flash file will cause the browser to scroll to the top.

Reopening this bug as somehowe people do not see how this could be a duplicate of Bug 264129, on which I agree. As you guys might have guessed this is still an issue. But the fact that keys don't work in plugin content is another Camino only bug. So what rests is the fact that FireFox, Mozilla and Camino for Mac show a dotted (focus) border when clicking on plugin content which is wrong as they should behave as if it where part of the rest of the page. And when clicked the webpage the plugin content is in is scrolled to the top. The appearance of the dotted border around plugin objects in html pages appeared between 23 and 27 july trunk builds. Between 25 and 27 august the dotted border got worse then it was, as from the on the border was shown all around the object. The scroll thing first shows up between the august 31 and september 1.

Summary: Embedded flash movies behave like regular images on click. → Embedded plugin content behave like regular images on click (showing a dotted border)
And as noted, this bug make the mac versions of all our browsers pretty useless when it comes to plugin content. This really something that needs to be tackled for 1.8. Just let me know if more info is needed. But I think that the dates given above should be more then enough info.
Fixed by the patch in bug 257488.
