Feature Request: I would like to see the addition of graphical icons
in the bottom window pane of download manger to
invoke browser, mailer, composer, etc. just like the browser window pane,
and the mailer window pane has.

Scenario.

I tend to "close@ popped up browser window and mailer window one by one
occasionally to clear up desktop screen, and often end up
with "apparent" lack of running mozilla window(s) any more.

But when I try to run mozilla afresh to see a web page or
to check e-mail again, sometimes I get the error
that my default profile is in use (due to the hidden download manager window).

While I thought every mozilla window was gone, I shuffle the
windows to make sure and voila, there is a hidden download manger window
beneath another program window still running. (I tend to keep
the download manager window screen small and often bury it
under other windows).

So when this happens, my only option today is to kill (close) the
download manager and thus killing the mozilla program completely.

But since it is already running and showing download manager,
why not let mozilla show the graphics icons for invoking
browser, mailer, composer, etc.. at the lower-left corner of
the download manager window pane.
Then I don't have to kill the download manager and restarting
mozilla afresh (two manual interventions and a slight delay in
starting up a new program), but simply
click on the desired icon to open a browser or mailer window (rather
quick since mozilla is already running). The latter operation is
a single click operation and so easy on user's mind while the
former requires two manual interventions and rather heavy on
user's mental awareness, so to speak.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. As explained in the scenario above.
2.
3.

This is a feature enhancment that makes the "experience" with
Mozilla (or for that matter, FireFox) a smooth one for certain
class of users at certain times.
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
each of the main app windows (browser, mail, addressbook, composer, chatzilla,
calendar) have an icon in the status bar, and each has the status bar icons.
Other windows don't. Specifically, other things in tools (js console, DOMi,
Venkman, password manager) and various other dialogs like page info do /not/
have the icons. You can always hit Ctrl-N in any window and it should open a
browser window.
