As I add bookmarks, Mozilla Firefox seems to crawl when opening.  It sometimes
takes forever - 20 seconds or more! 
I reinstalled and the problem went away along with all my bookmarks.  
Back again now.

Expected Results:  
Open quickly.

I find this to be annoying.  I want to continue to use this browser, but...

How many bookmarks are we talking about here?  And is this normal bookmarks, right?

also check the size of your history, that might cause it too.

U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050712 Firefox/1.0+.

IMHO this bug can be safely marked as RESOLVED INVALID or RESOLVED WORKSFORME.
It's been 10 months since this bug was originally filed and nobody has been able
to successfully duplicate it.
I believe this bug is a duplicate of 259819.  I have posted my comments there.
