When grouping the messages in a folder with "Grouped by sorts" by sender, a
thread is created for each recipient. This means that if dad@home.com writes to
me once to son@home.com and john@home.com, his two messages will not be threaded
together. I believe that this is something that should be fixed.

Yes.
I have found two messages from the "same" sender that are grouped differently.

Actually, they are different.  One has name, and the other has "name" but the
UI shows the names as the same.  If the UI is already stripping the name of
quote marks, then it should probably "group by" on that also.

Sarah has seen this before, changing Platform and OS to all. Setting TM to 1.0
for consideration depending on how tricky the fix is.
