User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 I'm running debian testing, Firefox 1.0PR downloaded from mozilla.org. - xfree86-common 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8 - kdebase 3.3.0-1, English US keyboard (an English-US keyboard) is set to: setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout us_intl -variant basic (note: there's a bug on xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8, workarounded as suggested here: http://lists.debian.org/debian-x/2004/10/msg00095.html) I can type the deadkey ' and c and get the cedilla (ç) on any kde application (including konqueror), but on Firefox it produces a c with acute accent mark (ć). This happens on any Firefox text enty field: Text or Input areas on the rendered page, address or search bar, file name field on "Save as", etc. Firefox Language is set to "English/United States [en-us]", "English [en]", and char encoding to Western (ISO-8859-1). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure your keyboard on KDE: (settings, Regional & Accessability, Keyboard Layout, as "US English w/ deadkeys (us_intl), Layout variant: basic 2. Check if typing 'c produces the cedilla on any kde application 3. Open Firefox 1.0PR and try 'c on any text entry field Actual Results: 'c produces ć (accented c) on any Firefox text field, while 'c produces the correct cedilla on any other kde application Expected Results: after typing ' then c, a cedilla (ç) should show up instead of (ć) on Firefox, as in the other apps.

Looks like bugzilla didn't get the cedilla, nor the accented c. It shows ç and ć instead... Well, you'll get the idea.

Character e accent acute and the two next characters are converted to a chinese double byte character in a text input field. Konqueror browser works. firefox-1.0.4-1.3.1.i386 doesn't. Example: I enter 'Sébastien' but this turn into 'S颡stien' when the form is re-displayed.
