Should have a Clear Location History option like the Search Bar as Right Click
option after Select all e.g.

Clear Location History

I was at Linux World and people noticed people looking to clear history separate
from clearing overall History.

Mass edit: Setting correct QA for location bar/autocomplete. My bad. I forgot I had once been Autocomplete QA too. Hmm, why can't I just set the QA of bugs to the default QA of the component in a mass edit rather than having to do it manually...?

Now that there's a 'Clear Search History' in the contextmenu of the search-field of Firefox 2.0 (after the 'Select All'), maybe we can smtg similar to the location field? That would be more consistent.

Shouldn't the location bar also honor "keep my history..." being checked or set to 0 in the preferences? It used to do just that.

Don't forget that in Firefox 3, the pulldown will also contains the bookmarks - it will not be empty anymore.

This behavior should be selectable by the user.  Putting bookmarks in the location bar is redundant with the bookmarks menu and devalues the primary purpose of the location bar: quickly find recently typed-in web sites.
