User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 I was trying to download a file and Firefix keep crashing with this error: "The instruction at "0x0051fae" referenced memory at "0x00000000", The memory could not be "read"." I found that there was only 76KiB's of free space on Drive C:, which is presumably where Firefox was using the temp folder. Upon freeing up some space, the download worked without crashing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make Disk space low in temp folder (usally on C:) 2. Download a file bigger than free space 3. Crash Actual Results: Crash. "The instruction at "0x0051fae" referenced memory at "0x00000000", The memory could not be "read"." Expected Results: Told the user that there is not enough temporary space to download.
Does it crash reproducably? Care to submit a talkback and post its id here?
Severity: normal → major
Summary: crash when trying to download a file bigger than the space left in Temo directory → crash when trying to download a file bigger than the space left in Temp directory
