User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041019 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041019 Firefox/1.0 In the last week or so of nightlies, I've started seeing some garbage and screen refresh problems on certain sites. Versiontracker is one that I can reliably reproduce this problem on. If you go to the URL, the top lefthand corner of the window's contents are a white block. scrolling causing weird overlaps and refresh issues in that area. A screenshot is also attached showing the issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Reproduced on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041022 Firefox/1.0 I've had a very similar problem with a web site I made but it doesn't seem to be related because it only happens which you put focus on a text box.

I see you customized your form widgets. Could you test with a plain old nightly?

I still have the same problem using a plain old nightly build, and no customized widgets. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041031 Firefox/1.0RC2 I'm sure it would help you knew what part of the web page is causing this so I'll look at the code at see if I can find anything. Maybe setup a test case if I have success.

Happens on the Windows version too. Although the problem on Windows goes away when you select another tab and back again. With the Mac version, the garbage stays. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
We're having the same problems with firefox on MacOS X, This is a real show stopper for us.
