User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041002 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041002 Firefox/0.10.1

The 1.0PR version of FireFox started consuming about 10-15% CPU when viewing a
page with animated gifs on it. This did not happen in earlier versions and does
not happen in Mozilla 1.7.

I use BigBrother, and the main status page is always open (it contains anigifs),
so this problems manifests itslef continuously for me

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a page with animated gifs (like the bb4.com demo page)
2.watch the CPU usage go up
3.

I'm running on Gentoo Linux (1.4 - current), DT environment is KDE (3.3.0)
this is a duplicate of 94828. someone with privileges - change please
Can you try testing this with a recent nightly build? Please reopen the bug if
you can reproduce the issue in a recent build.
