Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041022 Firefox/0.9.1+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041022 Firefox/0.9.1+

I ran Firefox PR 1 using sudo because there was a firefox automatic update that
would not install because it needed write access. Running firefox with sudo
allowed the update to install, but after I exited and ran firefox as my normal
user self my bookmarks were totally gone. They did not appear in the menu or
bookmark manager. Fortunatly I keep a backup. :) I did download and install what
I belive is a newer build (using it now) and was able to reproduce the problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Login to your linux system as a normal user where firefox is installed and used.
2.In a terminal windows enter >sudo firefox (I have a link to firefox in my path)
3.Notice that your bookmarks are fine when running as superuser.
4.Quit the sudo instance of firefox and then run it as yourself.

Actual Results:
All your bookmarks are GONE!

Expected Results:
The bookmarks should be just as they were before I ran firefox as superuser.

I am running SuSE Linux 9 and WindowMaker.
