Toolbar buttons (large icon, icon and text) are too wide on Windows XP; on my
1024x768 screen the Google box only shows up halfway because the toolbar buttons
are so wide. This seems to be a fairly recent change.

Kevin, Stephen, any idea on if this actually changed? Its pretty big, but I
don't think we can do a whole lot about that without making some of the buttons
really narrow. Feel free to WONTFIX as needed.
A minimum button width was added by bug 232550, so this seems to be by design. A
screenshot would be helpful.
Screenshot attached. It does appear to be the standard button width causing
this.	If that's the case, it would be nice if small icons would also decrease
the button size so I could still keep the same amount of icons (with text) on
my toolbar.
The weird thing is, as far as I can see, that at least on W2K the icons in the
small-icons-mode with text take up more space than in large-icons-mode with text.

If that was the design, then the design is broken IMO.

Another issue seems to be, that the search-bar is not flexible/resizable (a
pretty old WONTFIX bug if I recall correctly). This seems to cause the push-out
effect seen in the screenshot.
