I don't have a URL with a specific example but as I was developing a page I
noticed that even though I had a 'password' input field set to display: none
(making it invisible on the page), the passowrd manager was filling in a
password. causing much teeth gnashing and hair pulling. I think it seems to make
sense that if you can't see a field on the screen, firefox probably shouldn't be
putting data into the field.

sorry, a little bit of clarification; the field:

<p style='display: none;'> 
   Enter your password here: <input type='password' name='pass'>
</p>

On the rendered page, the field doesn't show... but the Password Mgr filled in
'pass', which was submitted with my form when the 'submit' button was clicked.
