I can click on them, but they don't do anything. it might be javascript related? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open yahoo mail 2. click on a recieved mail 3. try to reply to it, or try to forward it Actual Results: the page stayed the same. (ie, nothing happened) Expected Results: Go to the 'reply' or 'forward' screen of Yahoo mail

Boris, I couldn't find an obvious bug to dupe this to. do you remember what it was about?
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
I find it strange that in IE all of these menus work, and for some reason they do not work on Firefox...if more than just one person has this problem it seems to me that it should be considered a "high" priority since this could be a ground level error that could potentially affect other web functionalities. It could also potentially lie within my system, but once again IE does not complain about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This a bug that repeats with each version of Mozilla Suite, the page is stripped from its graphics and the javascripts that allow the Send and Reply button are disabled. I'm currently trying Mozilla Suite 1.8a6

Are you using any userAgent switcher?
Dup of bug 218110 -> 183863?
No, two different issues (though I guess bug 218110 mentions both). I've seen this bug a few times. No Javascript errors, and usually bouncing back and then forward in history makes the buttons work.

Remove gensha_2001@yahoo.com from cc as per private email request and to stop him/her accusing people of spamming. "I'm not interested in emailing you and Mozilla was so complicated I couldn't figure out how to make it stop. Thats why I haven't stopped it."

Can anyone reply comment 8?
I reported this bug too. I found that if you clear the cache and restart the browser, the yahoo mail controls work...

Appears that only the buttons that have dropdown arrows attached are affected (Move, Forward, Reply, etc.)
Uninstalling Adblock Extension (v5d2) resolved this issue for me.

I contacted Yahoo Mail Tech Support about this bug also. This is what I reported to them: On another website, I read that the problem is that Yahoo Mail has broken the Firefox User Agent with the last Yahoo update. That is why it works with MSIE and Netscape, but not Mozilla or Firefox. I also discovered a workaround that appears to work. I downloaded the User Agent Switcher extension for Firefox and created a User Agent Profile that was for Netscape 7.1 and Win 98. Then, I installed that extension and switched to the User Agent for Netscape 7.1. Then I logged in to Yahoo Mail. After opening any message to read, I go back and forth in history several times. I also clear the cache. When I do all this, the buttons start working - perfectly. If I don't do this, they don't work. I also discovered that the "Compose messages as color & graphics" preference selection does NOT work either. There is no bar that appears to allow you to select attributes like bold or font, etc. Only the text version works with Yahoo Mail and Firefox 1.5. It appears that the User Agent for the latest version of Yahoo Mail is broken with respect to Firefox and Mozilla.
I have this problem ('Forward' and 'Reply' buttons in Yahoo mail don't work) using Firefox 1.5.0.2 with Windows XP Pro. Clearing the cache sometimes helps, but the problem comes right back after just a few clicks around Yahoo Mail. ADDITIONALLY, I find that the 'Delete' button in Yahoo Mail is also frequently broken: WHen viewing a list of messages, selecting (checkbox) 1 or more messages and then clicking 'delete' has no effect. Messages can usually be deleted by clicking the message and then clicking the 'delete' button for that particular message... but multiple message deletions usually (but not always) is broken.
Is this a problem with current trunk?

I am having all the same problems and if you geeks don't find a solution SOON, I will be forced to resort to using a DIFFERENT BROWSER! That is my input guys! Thanks, Cindy
