User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040917 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040917 Firefox/0.9.3 when starting mozilla-firefox from a term i get this output: Warning: $XPSERVERLIST not set and /etc/init.d/xprint not found; printing will not work. Please install the xprt-xprintorg package auto selected locale: en-US firstly my system is set to the en_GB locale. secondly this entire output is annoying and is in the way of my daily routine, as an example I use a text/ncurses chat client which has the option of opening (posted) urls (with an externel browser), should i open a url with mozilla-firefox, this output corrupts/distorts the ncurses chat window. Also I don't have a printer at all and there seems to be no way of turning the output off, It would be a major relief if there was a way to turn all output off via a runtime config, thanks for your time :) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This looks more like a bug that is causing the output rather than an enhancement request. (especially given the summary) -> Severity to Normal Reporter are you still experiencing this problem with a current version of firefox?
Severity: enhancement → normal
