I found bug #257734 but it is not the same. Perhaps the mentioned bug has
nothing to do with time zones.

I just exported events and imported them in another Calendar file. After that I
just realized:
1.) some events (with the same name) were missing!!!
2.) some event times were shifted 1 or 2 hours forward!!!

So I think this is really a bad, critical bug!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Export events
2. import events

Actual Results:
1.) some events (with the same name) were missing!!!
2.) some event times were shifted 1 or 2 hours forward!!!

Expected Results:
export/import correctly

used version Sunbird 0.2a
Christoph,
We're going to need a bit more information to pin down this bug precisely.
First of all, a new build of Sunbird has been released since you filed this bug.
Are you still experiencing this issue? If not, please mark the bug resolved.
If you are, it sounds like somehow the .ics files are getting mangled. It'd be
very useful if you could attach the original calendar file that you export from,
the file that was exported to, and the new .ics file when you imported the
events. The first and third files are in your Sunbird profile directory and the
second is wherever you saved it.
I think it works correctly in v.0.2 - I can not reproduce the bug and I do not
have the files anymore I exported/imported.
