When you have an image open in the first/lab tab, which is too big for the
window you can enlarge it.  When you have a second tab open and the image in the
first tabbed 'window' is enlarged and you close the second tab it will shrink
the image in the first tab to fit the window.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open big image in first tab (set to always show tab, even with only one active)
2. Open second tab
3. Close second tab, watch image shrink back to fit window

Actual Results:  
Image visibly shrinks back to fit the window.

Expected Results:  
Image should stay expanded/enlarged.
