The cached username and password for accessing the Mozilla shared calendar are
displayed in clear text on the page. The password displayed is used to access
the remote calendar server (WebDAV)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. In URL bar, enter about:config
2. search for "password"
3.

Actual Results:
along with loads of configuration details, the password shows in clear text.

Expected Results:
Not presented the calendar password at all.
reporter: what "shared calendar" are you talking about?

If you're talking about the Mozilla Calendar, <http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/>, then please
change the Product to Calendar.
It is the Mozilla calendar password that it displayed. I listed it as a Firefox
bug as it was firefox that showed the password data. I am also installing the
calendar xpi under Mozilla to test it as well. I'll change the product name to
calendar.
Component: Password Manager → Calendar Front End
Product: Firefox → Calendar
This was fixed last May on the trunk, bug 185340. I don't know if Calendar is
supported in Aviary, but that's probably a bug worth fixing if it is. Rather
than reopen bug 185340 I'll leave this one for the branch bug, because at this
point it might have a separate resolution.

calendar doesn't use the aviary branch, and this is fixed on trunk.
