User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 Login to gmail.com, click Contacts, then Import Contacts (allow popup for gmail.google.com URL), then Learn More. The Import Contacts popup window should open a new window, but Firefox disables it, although the target URL is allowed. Even with Firefox's popup stopper and all extensions disabled, Firefox disables the popup window (yellow bar on top says so). Using direct URL for the target link works fine. No such problems in IE6. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Login to gmail.com 2. Select "Import Contacts" (allow popup for gmail.google.com URL) 3. Select "Learn More" (notice althought it's same URL, Firefox won't allow further new windows/popups). 4. Click on the upper yellow popup info bar and select "Allow <URL>" just causes another duplicate "Allow <URL>" entry. Actual Results: Firefox disables the popup window (yellow bar on top says so). Expected Results: Allow new windows/popup or open in existing browser session.
This bug happens all the time, and situation is axactly as described. Please help!!! Example page: https://epoch.oreilly.com/shop/cart.orm?prod=0-596-00411-7 then click on "Free Shipping" link in right hand sidebar. Also when trying to configure my ADSL modem. Another example page: https://www.etradeaustralia.com.au/application/index.asp? then click on "Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points with E*TRADE". This is my 2nd install of Firefox, v1.04, previously v1.00. I note that settings are kept separately from the main instal folder, in Documents and Settings. Could there be a hangover from that installation. Further note: Iam running Norton Firewall and have no problem whatever with popup windows, apart from not being able to see them
