User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040922
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040922

Often (due to a bad firewall) my IMAP connections breaks so that copying a sent
mail to the Sent folder fails. Mozilla then presents a dialogue box saying so
and asking me to choose between retry and cancel. Often I miss to answer the
box. If the dialogue box is still up it blocks other attemts by Mozilla to copy
to Sent folders. I do not know if it blocks all Sent folders in all accounts or
only the one with an active dialogue box.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. See to that the copying process to a Sent folder fails by breaking the TCP
connection to the IMAP server. As a result a dialogue box is presented.
2. Dont touch the dialogue box.
3. Restry sending email and see how IMAP copying fails due to the unanswered
dialogue box.

Actual Results:
Mozilla does not copy to the IMAP folder.

Expected Results:
It should try as it normally does to copy mail to the IMAP folder despite having
a dialogue up.
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
Is the dialog modal? Could be related to bug 74331.

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
