Going to either of these pages (they look similar enough to imply the same
source code was used to produce them) causes the PC to loose ALL TCP/IP
connectivity.  No pinging, ftping, http, etc in ANY application.  The only way
to restore IP functionality is to reboot the PC.  Simply logging out and back in
will not fix it.

It could be a mozilla bug if only Mozilla would be affected. 
This is a problem with your local system (windows XP)  and not Mozilla (doesn't
matter if IE doesn't cause this)
