When I try to install ChromEdit from
https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/showlist.php?category=Configuration,
Firebird tells me that it is not a valid installation package. BTW, the link on
https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=17&vid=1028 doesn't work
at all; I get "The requested URL
/pub/mozilla.org/extensions/chromedit/chromedit_0.1.1.1.xpi was not found on
this server."

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Try to install the extension
Actual Results:  
Error message telling me that it is not a valid install package.

Expected Results:  
Package to be installed

This was a result of a temporary problem with the extension mirroring process.
It's been fixed now. Marking fixed. (As it was a valid bug, really) :-)
