Firefox can't display devnagri font properly on at least the following
websites. There may be more...

http://www.timesofindia.com
http://www.jagran.com

It's required to bring on Indian masses to use FireFox. A big reason why its not
my default browser, as my parents using the computer visit there and many such
sites which do not work on Firefox.

Thanks!!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just visit the site mentioned above.
2. See how IE loads the site with fonts. navbharattimes.com priveds a link to
the fonts.
3.
jagran.com works if you download the font manually from the link to "Download
Hindi font", http://us.jagran.com/download.asp, and also set Jagran as the font
for "User defined" in Tools | Options | Fonts & Colors.

The Times of India site comes up for me in English only, with no link to a Hindi
version.

This is all or partly a dupe of bug 52746.

Sorry, The Other Website is http://www.navbharatimes.com

Thanks,
Hemant
I installed the fonts as described in Comment #1. www.jagran.com worked fine
after that. I did the same installation for www.navbharattimes.com (ie. setting
the "User Defined" to sudipto). But this caused www.jagran.com to not work
properly. Also www.navbharatimes.com showed only the left column bar in Hindi;
and rest all were missing.

Also why do we need to install these fonts, when IE is working fine displaying
those fonts? Are they not installed already?
(In reply to comment #3)

www.navbharattimes.com works without setting sudipto as the font for "User Defined"

This is a different bug.

That is bug 52746, as I said before.
