Attempting to dowload, xxx.zip or xxx.exe, cannot be not be saved becuase the
source file could not be read....

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Attemp download with file ending exe/zip etc
2.Problem occurs

Unable to download

Expected Results:  
Save a file to temp folder or other designated folder

Likely a dup of bug 227439.

Can you either delete compreg.dat or go to about:plugins and then try again?

Deleted compreg.dat and going to about plugins, solved the problem.
