I had Firefox 1.0PR. Then I downloaded 1.0RC1 and updated it (without
uninstalling Firefox 1.0PR). There are these two problems:

- The bookmark tab shows is EMPTY
- Right clicking on a link to open it in new tab creates the new tab BLANK and
unusable

These problems solved by reinstalling 1.0PR (without uninstalling 1.0RC1).

Then I uninstalled 1.0PR and installed 1.0RC1: all fine (no problems for now).

You should modify the Firefox installer by automatically uninstalling old versions
