User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 When having installed multiple extensions, rightclicking an extension or clicking the uninstall button and confirming the question, will select the next extension. Nice feature, but this can be confusing for some users - especially if firefox scrolls the list (for example, because the extension you want to uninstall is at the bottom of the list). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install multiple extensions; 2. Restart Firefox; 3. Uninstall one of the extensions via the extension manager. Actual Results: The next extension was selected. Expected Results: Keep the extension you want to be uninstalled selected.
Confirmed, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I'm not conviced this is a bug. I personally find this feature rather helpful if you want to uninstall a whole bunch of extensions, it just selects the next one when you click uninstall.
Hello, I am using the current edition Firefox 1.5. But I cannot deinstall the old extensions from former versions. I get the message. Extensions will be deinstalled with the next startup. But this not true. The extensions do not disappear. As a next approch I deinstalled the software and deleted also the folder C:\Programfiles\Morzilla. When I installed Firefox 1.5.01 again, I had also all extensions again. How can I get rid of all extensions? Best Regards Olaf
o.hartmer@gmx.de - please ask user support questions in the support forums at http://forums.mozillazine.org/ I agree with Zach in regards to this being a useful feature and I don't believe this causes confusion for the vast majority of users since there is a visual cue that the selection has changed.

Fixed by the checkin of bug 329045. With themes we will often need to select the next one due to being able to uninstall a theme immediately if it is not in use.
