I tried installing LiveHttpHeaders 0.9 on FireFox 1.0 RC1. Install.log indicated
success even though it poped up a dialog box says:

"LiveHttpHeaders 0.9 could not be installed because it is not compatible with
this version of FireFox. (LiveHttpHeaders 0.9 will only install with FireFox
versions from 0.8 to 0.10+"

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected Results:
Install.log should log a failure
The LiveHttpHeaders extention has not been updated to work with 1.0 RC1
apparently.

The installation of Firefox has not failed, just the installation of the
LiveHttpHeaders extention has.

I believe your expecting this:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
https://update.mozilla.org/plugins/installers/invalid.xpi -- 2004-10-12 15:14:02
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

     Install **FAILED** with error -207 -- 2004-10-12 15:14:02

Correct, shouldn't install.log indicate that installation failed (regardless at
which phase)?
not a firefox bug.
