Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1

With IE, I see the notification. Not with firefox.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.google.com from fire fox.
Actual Results:
I don't see the notification

Expected Results:
I should see the notification
I don't see any difference in www.google.com between Firefox and IE, apart from
a "Make Google my Homepage" link on the IE version.

Perhaps you have a cookie set for IE ?
What notification are you talking about?

Well, it's not there anymore. I think either because I have downloaded Keyhole
from google or they don't advertise it today.

I remember some time ago, just around when google started laying a new egg every
week (gmail, desktop search, gmail notifier....) I had signed up to reveive
informaiton about anything google comes out with. I don't know if they set a
cookie or if they keep that in my gmail account, I only see the new software
available notifications on IE. This is what it looked like yesterday. (I think
'keyhole from google' was a hyperlink to that url)

"New! Keyhole from Google <http://www.keyhole.com/index.html?promo=hpp-en-us-2>:
Satellite images of anywhere on earth."

What I wonder is, why this is not transferred to my FireFox profile when I
imported everything from IE when I installed FireFox?
Invalid. Announcements on Google's home page are displayed somewhat randomly.
