I tried setting a manual proxy configuration in the prefernces of Mozilla on my
Mac and I pressed OK, when I try accessing a URL, it keeps on trying to access it
directly and not through the proxy. When I go and check the preferences again, I
see the manual proxy config is selected but the FTP and HTTP proxy values are
missing. Once I click my mouse inside the space where I'm suppose to enter my
values, my old values come again automatically. When I press OK, I lose them
again.
Also, I have noticed that there is no SECURITY proxy to be set. That's important
too and it's missing. Thanks :)

Looks like it to me. Might want to change 24329 from NT to All since this affects more than one platform. Verifying.
