User-Agent:       Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0

When loading the Firefox browser, no bookmarks appear under "Bookmarks". The 
only available options under this option are 'Bookmark this Page' and 'Manage 
Bookmarks'. However, once you launch the Bookmark Manager, and close it off, 
all the bookmarks appear under "Bookmarks"

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Execute the Firefox browser
2. Scroll to Bookmarks, no bookmarks are listed
Actual Results:  
Bookmarks are not listed under "Bookmarks"

Expected Results:  
Listed all saved bookmarks

The same happens to me on Firefox 1.0RC2 de-DE (Windows 2000, sp3). Under 1.0RC2
en-EN this works on my machine!

I can also reproduce on firefox 1.0 full release.  Open Firefox, and no
bookmarks, open bookmark manager, they are there, close it, and bookmarks appear.

Same thing. But I press "View->Toolbars->Customize" to fix it each time browser
starts.

Looks like there's an error which happens at startup, which prevents the
bookmarks from being initialized. This may be a problem with one of extensions
you have, in which case you should figure out what is that extension and let its
author know about the problem.

Does this problem happen when you start Firefox without any extensions (in safe
mode)? Does it happen when you start it with a new profile?

It doesn`t happen with a new profile, but happens in safe mode.
Actually, I`ve figured out the problem: the bookmarks were in "navigation
toolbar", not in "bookmarks toolbar". Anyway, it worked for me.
Now I`ve placed bookmarks in their toolbar and it`s okay.
