User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1 When running Import Wizard on clean install, the wizard closes automatically without waiting for user to click on Finish when Firefox launches. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Perform clean install (remove all profiles) to get migration dialog on launch. 2. Install Firefox. 3. After Install, launch Firefox. 4. Import Wizard automatically starts with Microsoft Internet Explorer is selected. 5. Click Next. Actual Results: 1. "The following items are currently being imported" is displayed with no items and the screen does not wait for clicking next (may not be part of bug). 2. "The following items were successfully imported" is displayed with no items and the scrren does not wait for clicking Finish and closes automatically without user input. Expected Results: 1. "The following items are currently being imported" should be displayed and enable the Next button and wait for clicking next (may not be part of bug). 2. "The following items were successfully imported" should wait for clicking Finish to close based on user input.

confirmed The migration dialog closes and launches FF automatically about 5 seconds after the Finish button appears. Is this intentional? (I just spoke with Ben; he says this is intended) reporter: I don't think results 1 is a bug. Although good import status is lacking there. If you want control over what is imported, don't migrate on launch. Instead, launch then choose File | Import. The dialogs on that path allow selectability of what is or isn't imported. marking invalid

I agree that FF should launch automatically, but having the dialog dissappear when this happens is a little non-standard. It would make more sense for that dialog to remain open in the background as a non-modal dialog.
