266648 - Activity indicator (throbber) has no right-hand padding (less apparent with the BlueCurve theme)

Since 1.0PR the throbber has lost its right-hand padding so that it now touches
the right-hand side of the menubar or toolbar. This happens with all the basic
Gnome/GTK themes I've tried, although I don't have access to BlueCurve, which
might explain why this hasn't been reported already.

I don't remember seeing this on Windows, but I don't have access to a Windows
machine today to confirm this.

I have installed the BlueCurve theme and the problem is less apparent, unless
the window is maximised. I think this is because this theme does not have left
and right-hand bevels on menubars and toolbars. Modifying description to clarify.

On Windows XP, the throbber *does* have a right-hand padding/margin.

The throbber has been deprecated, and the front-end team has decided that we won't be fixing this.
