266674 - "Compact This Folder" has disappeared from folder context menu

The per-folder context menu, in the folder sidebar, has lost its menu entry
"Compact This Folder".

This has happened between checkouts on 200410280400 & 200410290400 (with the
times in GMT)

I'm using IMAP servers for my mail, if that matters.

My checkout log shows that this file was updated:

mozilla/mail/base/content/mailContextMenus.js

which might implicate:

Bug #266578 --> Hide folder pane context menu items for virtual folders

but the folders I'm looking at are not virtual folders, I believe. They are real
IAMP folders, backed by real UNIX mail files on the IMAP server.

I've checked in more details, and this affects every mail folder from two
separate mail servers.

What's more interesting is that, of the 4 folder context menu operations
mentioned for removal - from virtual folders - in bug 266578:

1) Copy Folder Location
2) Subscribe
3) Compact This Folder
4) Search Messages

It's only "Compact This Folder" that I am missing.

I do still have:

1) Copy Folder Location
2) Subscribe
4) Search Messages

on all folders.
