User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040927 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040927 During bug search, I found bug 81153, but this is NOT a duplicate of that one. I also searched for "Confirm Migration" both in Comment and Whiteboard, with all status selected and MailNews/AccountManager as well as MailNews only. I found bug 69300 (which should be reopend) which I also hit on the lastest nightly build, which is why I reverted back to 1.8a4. Even though I've "migrated" (which it didn't do - I have to retype everything every time) about 8 times, it keeps asking me to migrate again and again. The dialog looks like this Confirm Migration You are about to create a Mozilla profile based on your netscape 4 profile. This will copy and convert some of your Netscape 4 files to work with Mozilla. You Netscape 4 profile data will not be modified. (OK) Then I see this Account Wizard New Account Setup In order to recieve message, ... (*) Email account (Next) Your Name: Email Address: (Next) (*) IMAP Incoming Server: I also have to reset proxies every time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mozilla 1.8a4 after deleting Mozilla 1.7 (also reproduced this bug there) 2. Try to run "C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\mozilla.exe" -mail 3. Every time you run, it brings up account manager, even if you keep mozilla in memory Actual Results: Every time I exit and restart Mozilla, I have to migrate my account again. Expected Results: 1) I should have actually migrated my netscape profile 2) Failing that (which it did, since I had to enter everything) it should accept what I've entered and remember it the next time I run mozilla. I don't suppose I have to tell you how annoying this is.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
