2.
3.

Actual Results:
FireFox hangs

Expected Results:
Opened acrobat 6.0 for PDF file review
I've seen the same thing with Acrobat reader 6.0.1 and RC1 of Firefox
(Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026
Firefox/1.0RC1). Behaviour described in this bug is seen on two completely
independent installs of Firefox/Acrobat at work and at home (home is Win2k SP3,
work is XP SP1).

As a workaround, this doesn't affect the same versions of Firefox with acrobat
reader 5.1. This is still available from adobe at:

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/reader_archive.html#Win
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

this still is occureing with this build under win2ksp4, which is a bit newer
than the reporters.

there seems to be a lot of seemingly related bugs/issues relating to acrobat
What Acrobat Reader version are you using? Also try upgrading to Acrobat Reader 7.0.
Update to Acrobat 7 doesn't help -- I tried it.
I just had this happen in a recent FF nightly and I found after I killed firefox
from task manager that acrobat had it's dialog box behind it asking me to
upgrade. Could that be relevant?
Update: I just loaded the same pdf having previously told acrobat not to try to
check for updates ever again and it loaded perfectly.
WFM with the latest plugin and the latest FF trunk
